Hello ladies! I found this weeks blog challenge a little bit of a challenge! I am not really the pampering type, even though I am partial to a massage. My money gets spent on makeup and not really on 'pampering products.'
I could definitely do with a pamper today though as I have been feeling a little bit down this week but anyways, I must crack on with my go-tos! These are very select as I am fussy about my likings of certain scents and textures of products as my skin is quite sensitive but these definitely do the job! :-)
1. Dove silky nourishing bath cream, shower cream and body lotion
These are very creamy nourishing products and I absolutely love the scent of them which I fins very comforting. I am very fussy about body lotion as i don't like stickiness but this body lotion really just melts into the skin! They really work together in harmony making your skin feel like silk, lathering up really well and leaving you feeling soft skinned and pampered!
2. Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Replenishing Body Cream and Gentle Shower Cream
This is the first time I have tried products from Roger & Gallet, in my eyes they would be quite fancy shmancy. They provide "24 hour hydration" and are formulated for dry, sensitive skin.
They are sulfate and paraben free and they smell INCREDIBLE. I think its the fig extract. Lush, go check them out.
3. Fenjal shower cream
I have mentioned this before. It is like my luxury shower product, it smells divine, is so creamy and makes skin feel and smell fab!
4. Yankee candles
You cant have pampering without a Yankee burning nearby ;) My favourite scent at the moment is pink dragon fruit, so I stocked up on twelve tealights, and because the box was damaged I got them for €4.50 hells to the yeah!
That rounds it up girls, big shout out to Samantha at www.allthebuzz.co.uk for giving us the chance to participate.

College Girls Guide to: Beauty on a Budget
Greasy roots but can't afford dry shampoo? Blondes can use baby powder and brunettes can use bronzer, just dust onto the roots, rub in, and brush out.
Panda eyes but no eye makeup remover? Work a little bit of olive oil or Vaseline on a cotton bud into your lash line and the oil will work it right off.
White eyeliner is your only woman to brighten up those tired, red rimmed eyes after too many late nights partying or studying ;-) Essence are doing a dual ended black and white kajal liner for €1.89! I picked one up recently in Penneys. Talk about a bargain, two for one!
The makeup essential all girls should have is a matte neutral eye shadow palette. Make Up Academy do a fantastic matte palette (above, left) with not just neutral shades. Blank Canvas palette (above, right) retails at €10.99 and contains shades you can use to contour, highlight, fill in your brows and as eye shadow bases. Matte neutral shadows have so many uses and are really worth investing in a versatile, multiple use buy.
Lidl is worth a look on your weekly supermarket sweep. They have introduced their versions of the BB and CC creams at only €2.99 a pop I have heard only good things!
Vaseline is also a great multi-purpose product for dry skin, lips, elbows, knees, smoothing back eyebrows and keeping hair dye from staining your hairline.
Every girl needs her set of makeup brushes. They can run expensive but I researched it, and you can buy 9 of the essential brushes online at muastore.co.uk and all for about €25!
Any great makeup brush website which is both affordable and great quality are AYU Brushes, at ayu.ie. They are offering high quality brush sets at the higher price of €55, and also free shipping for the month of February!
Try out Natural Collection, WetnWild, MUA, and NYC. They are all fantastic beauty brands offering seriously good savings. Rimmel is also made by the same brand as L'Oreal, so you can also expect high quality for your euro. Catrice is my absolute favourite budget beauty brand. I can personally vouch for their lipsticks, mascaras, blushers, bronzers and powders. They have incredible staying power and are brilliant quality.
It's time to DIY! That's do it yourself for all those ladies out there, and no, get your minds out of the gutter, I don't mean in that way! DIY hair and face masks are the way forward. Most include kitchen-friendly ingredients, take a minute to whip up and don't cost a penney with fantastic, all natural results!
Dry hair/face: take an avocado, smash it up with some honey and banana and apply to hair, and face. Leave on for 20 minutes, then wash off.
Oily hair: This is for seriously greasy hair. Take a 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar, and the grated lemon peel of a whole lemon. Apply to scalp, leave for 15 minutes to soak up the oil. Lemon acts as an astringent and then wash off in the shower.
Damaged hair: Three tablespoons of olive oil mixed with two eggs applied to hair and left for 20 minutes will promote healthy hair growth and give much needed moisture to the hair. Don't forget to rinse!
DIY body scrub:
Olive oil and sugar, or coffee granules make a great DIY body scrub.
Quick Tips:
1. Warm eyeliner with a lighter for a few seconds. This will create a gel liner effect.
2. Put mascara tubes in a cup of hot water. It will give the dried out mascara a new lease of life.
3. Re-use false lashes by cleaning the gunk (mascara and glue) off with cleanser on a cotton bud.
4. Don't throw away your favourite eye shadow, powder and bronzer if it is smashed, just put a drop or two of isopropyl alcohol into it and flatten it with a tissue over it, it will be as good as new when it dries out.
5. Check out places like Dealz, Euro Giant and chemists. They often have really good deals and discounts on hair, beauty and nail products!
Hope you found the tips helpful! Let me know if you have any more budget beauty tips in the comments below.

Makeup Musthaves #BOBBlogChallenge
The third week of the #BOBBlogChallenge is to blog about our favourite makeup must-haves, and Jeebus did I have a hard time narrowing it down! I actually took a photo of my entire makeup kit and then thought nah, better just stick to the essentials!
Check out Samantha, at allthebuzz.co.uk it is her who had the genius idea of this blogging challenge. You can read other bloggers Makeup must-haves this week by following the Twitter hashtag #BOBBlogChallenge. The first week we were fourth trending in Ireland. Yup yup! #twittafame You can also follow me on Twitter @KjWheelo
I digress, so lets get on to the good stuff! Obviously this doesn't include foundation, but its a given that that is an essential, so here are my top miracle products that I couldn't do without as an extra to my basics! :)
Skinfinish Soft & Gentle, MAC
This wonder product just adds that extra depth and definition to your face when you are highlighting and shading. It adds a gorgeous glow to your face, flat skin is out, so get your grubby paws on a highlighter, quick smart.
MUA matte palette and angled brush
I am a fiend for matte shadows as they have so many uses! This palette is fab as the shadows give great colour, last well and it is so cheap :) Check out muastore.co.uk
I use the light and dark brown shades on my eyebrows with the angled brush, and I also use the neutral shades to create a contoured eye. So versatile! When I'm doing my brows I just spritz the brush with a water spray as it can look a little powdery otherwise.
Laura Mercier hydrating primer
This is my luxury primer, but I am actually loving Nivea's hydrating primer a little bit more. A primer is just a makeup must have to keep that makeup on all day, smooth the skin, and bring your skin back to its preferable ph.
Carmex
Carmex, because a girl has just gotta have some balm! My lips get awful chapped, and this lipbalm is in every makeup bag I own!
Catrice Sun Glow Matte Bronzing powder (Medium skin)
I love a bronzer to add some colour to the face and sculpt the temples, cheekbones, jawline and chin! Just adds so much more definition to your face and it makes a huge difference. A matte bronzer is a must in my books! Catrice makes such fabulous makeup at such affordable prices so where would you be going! :)
LancĂ´me Hypnose mascara
I almost forgot about it as I only have a sample size of it at the moment, but this is my mascara of the month, possibly year. It gives fantastic, thick black opaque lashes, and it doesn't flake off like other mascaras I have tried. 'Nuff said.

Penneys Bargains Haul: What I bought for €20
Hello ladies! Today on the blog I decided to share my Penneys haul :)
I am in love with Penneys you can go in with less than twenty euro and come out with lots of lovely girlie bits!
1. Long sleeved top (Blush pink) €6
Picked this up because I fell in love with the slogan "Enjoy the little things." It kinda goes with the whole positive mental attitude and random act of kindness thought process. Also spied a lovely one wit It's a beautiful day emblazoned across it :)
2. Penneys nails €1.50
Love the selection of false nails that they have in at the moment. They have everything from cupcakes, bows, hearts, leopard print and neon nails. Go in and grab a pair, the glue they come with is so strong and they can last up to 2 weeks :)
3. Catrice gel liner precision brush €2.79
This liner brush is double sided, angled brush on one end and a precision liner brush on the other end, it is super cheap and hopefully works well as I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
4.Catrice Apropos Apricot defining blush €3.99
Again, haven't had a chance to test this yet but Catrice blushes come highly recommended by my makeup tutor and any girls with redness in their cheeks should try out apricot or coral blushes, and avoid pink toned blushes.
5. Stellar magazine €1.95 & Hair clips €1.50
Stellar for a great read, and hair clips because they are just damn handy!
Total: €17.73
I'll set you a challenge...see what you can pick up for 20 euro next time you are in Penneys :) Leave me links to what you bought below! :) errryboday loves a good Penneys bargain

Hair Heroes #BOBBlogChallenge
My No1 Hair Hero is Equave leave in conditioner. It is available in most salon supply shops and I am not sure how much it retails at as I've had mine for months literally it lasts for ages and I use it every time I wash my hair. I shampoo, condition and then spray this into towel dried hair. It makes combing through hair soooo easy as I used to have the worst tangles in my hair and NO patience!
I used to have hair extensions and it is a great product for use with microbead extensions as well.
This argan oil shampoo and conditioner is used by my hairdresser and available in chemists for only €1.99 each bottle, which is incredible value! As all you beauty bloggers know argan oil is the word on everyones lips in regards hair care and it leaves my hair looking shiny, healthy and feeling thick. Love it!
And last but not least...Aussie 3 minute miracle reconstructor. What can I say? It smells diiiivine. I literally am in love with all the Aussie scents. I leave this in towel dried hair for three minutes or more and my hair is left silky smooth. Fantastic for those who have dyed their hair a lot, or have a lot of breakage.
So that sums up my hair heroes, sorry for being so bold and not posting at 7pm. I'll be kilt! ;)
Keep on blogging it beautiful & check out www.facebook.com/bloggingitbeautiful

Update on my Makeup Course
Not a very catchy title I must admit but it serves a purpose! Anyways guys if you didn't know I am studying ITEC in Makeup Artistry at night in Clane, Co.Kildare.
I did a post already here but this post is an update on my course :)
My tutor is Niamh Martin of www.nimabrush.ie and I am also studying journalism full time during the day in Ballyfermot College.
I am nearing the end of my ITEC course and while I have enjoyed every minute of it I will be glad to be finished and qualified as it is a lot more work than you would think combining a full time course during the day and a night course, at night, well obviously. ;)
My ITEC which stands for International Therapy Examinations Council exams, will take place in early March and we have two exams.
One is a one hour written exam about colour theory, face shapes, cosmetic science, contraindications (things that prevent you from applying makeup like skin diseases and disorders).
The next exam is a half hour practical exam where we must do a full cleanse, tone and moisturise, and apply a day makeup to a model while being examined.
If you are interested in studying makeup artistry studying Art in school can be very helpful, as can biology I would assume as there is a bit of science involved. I am actually really interested in the cosmetic science part of my course as its great to know what is in your makeup!
The third part of my exam is a portfolio. This portfolio must contain client consultations, face charts, product lists and of course photographs. Two photographs of each client, there must be five, and there must be a before, with no makeup on, and an after with whichever look you were going for.
We have to do a day, evening, and a bridal look and can choose the last two ourselves, so I will be doing a mature makeup and a special occasion makeup.
If you are interested in doing a makeup artistry course I would recommend you do the ITEC course because you will have a qualification and gain knowledge about skin care, cosmetic science and skin disorders at the same time so you will be more qualified.
You can search for courses here http://www.itecworld.co.uk/colleges/?s=null&q=15&c=Any&p=ireland :)

Positive Mental Attitude : Get one here!
"Clap along, if you feel like happiness is the truth."
You can choose to be happy. A lot of people myself included can suffer from low moods or depression at certain times in their lives, even us girls can PMS so bad you would think it was the end of the world. All those hormones going crazy are bound to leave us not knowing which way is up.
I find sometimes when I am feeling down in the dumps, that I just want to sulk and make my bad mood worse without any real reason. It's time to stop that and Get Happy.
February 6th marked National Time to Talk Day. It is about creating awareness of mental health problems and helping people to come out of their shell more and not be afraid to voice how they are feeling.
It doesn't have to need a day dedicated to it however. Pop the kettle on, bake a nice cake and sit down to have a chat with your nearest and dearest. We can often forget in this world that it is not just us who our moods affect. Other people can hide how they are feeling an awful lot and the simple question, "How are you feeling?" Can spark a torrent of emotion that they had been putting a wall up around for so long.
Suicide rates have gone through the roof lately and I think it is because we are all trapped in a bubble of social media addiction and are forgetting how to actually connect and talk to other people one on one.
Back away from the screens, log out of your Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, turn off the laptop and TV, take out those headphones and start interacting with people in real life.
I felt the need to write this post after the recent Neknominations. I hate how they encouraged alcohol abuse and the need to "better" the person before, which led to people necking pints of spirits and subsequently losing their lives.
A recent thing we bloggers have been trying to promote is RAKNomination, or random act of kindess, I feel that in order to promote positivity why not do a random act of kindness unto one another and praise each other for being nice instead of downing pints and completing stupid dares. It says a lot about our culture that Neknominations spread faster than Raknominations, but I hope this post will get #rak out there.
A #rak can be anything like paying for someones busfare/toll/coffee, helping someone with their bags/shopping, stopping to chat with someone who you never usually talk to, or donating clothes to charity. A random act of kindness can be as small or as big as you want and I hope by reading this post you would like to do a good deed too.
Another positive entity that has sprung from neknominations is nekdonate. It is about donating blood. Ireland has a serious lack of blood available for transfusions at the moment. You never know whose life you could save by giving blood now.
I am an extremely squeamish person and have a horrible phobia of needles so I think I will stick to my Raknominations for now! ;)
Tips on how to have a positive mental attitude:
- Forget past mistakes
- Accept what you cannot change
- Write down five things you are grateful for everyday for 21 days
- Learn how to meditate to de-stress
- Remember: worrying is a waste of energy
Get out there and get running. Exercise releases endorphins, known as serotonin the happy hormone and it is the best antidote to feeling low. A good laugh and of course some tea and chocolate never hurt either.
If I am feeling down I like to put my runners on and go for a brisk walk or a run if I am feeling up to it, when it is just you, the fresh air and the outside world it helps put things into perspective and gives you time and space to think.
A happy playlist, a list of songs that always put you into a good mood is a great place to start, and of course Pharrell Williams Happy is first on my list!
Like attracts like, so surround yourself with positivity and like my Mammy always says, "Nothing seems as bad after a good nights sleep!"
Have a lovely day :)
xoxo
