A Day in the Life

It's 4 minutes to 8pm and I'm writing the #LetsTalkBlogChallenge proposed by Sarah Hamersly of www.atthebeautydesk.blogspot.ie I think the fact I left it so late sums up my life! I am a very disorganized scatterbrain, delighted to take part in this challenge so I can learn more about my fellow lady bloggers.

So lets get to it! I am an ITEC qualified makeup artist, I study journalism in college and I am now working full time in the hospitality industry. So I'm a busy gal as I'm sure you can tell.

I recently adopted a dog named Flash, we changed his name to Buddy. He was going to be put down by the pound this day last week if no one took him and so we rescued him! He is gorgeous, with such a soft, sleek coat. I am very passionate about supporting animal rights and rehoming animals and I'm doing the women's mini marathon for the DSPCA.

That's all for now, follow us every week on #LetsTalkBlogChallenge

xoxo

    1. He is brilliant, cant believe he was going to be put down as a 1 year old healthy dog, you should try foster a dog if you aren't able to rehome :)

  6. Buddy is adorable! I also love the fact that you took him in instead of letting him be put to sleep.

    1. couldn't be doing that! A young healthy pup deserves a life, gonna have my work cut out training him though! He is brilliant though, sits on command. Just gotta get him used to cars, he is terrified of them!

  7. He is adorable! We saved my cat when she was abandoned in a box, she was not even old enough to leave her mother. There is something so rewarding about giving animals a new home!

    1. I feel like animals are almost the same as humans, hate to think people can abuse such vulnerable creatures. Well done you! :) x

  8. Aw Katie, you're so good to do this challenge, I think a few people were in the same boat so I really appreciate the effort. You sound like you have such a busy life and loads going on. I'd love to be able to adopt a dog (being in an apartment I would't feel right cause of lack of space) Buddy looks so cute and playful. Thanks so much for taking part in my challenge, means so much.

    1. Thanks a million Sarah, I think committing to do a blogging challenge is great as it will make me blog more and get me into more lifestyle blogging which I haven't ever really done before. Next post will be longer :-) Loved your post, would love to write for a magazine one day. If you are ever looking for anyone... ;-)
